The North Leeds Committee would like to thank Dave Royles ( our junior chair) and all the coaches and parents ( bar teams and parents on refreshment duty ) who help provide so many of our juniors their first taste of cricket .
We are a junior section with 150 members. The club is still full at all age groups save for U15 and U17 which has lower numbers

On the whole the weather has been kind and fewer games have been cancelled than in recent years. The Junior section recognise their huge debt of gratitude to Nick Bull (Bully) our groundsman who puts so many hours of commitment to the cricket ground . The club and the junior section are lucky to have him.

Next Few Months

The junior section doesn’t go to slepp in the winter months once the season is over . There will be a meeting in September to organise Winter Nets and look forward to the 2018 season. This will need the appointment of additional managers as some of the coaches are stepping down .there will be an audit of everyones DBS clearlance as well as a coacjhing audit to take place . As well as dealing with the many many requests from parents for their child to join our special Friday nights which will run again in 2019.
